The Client

Another project was created for me during my time spent in Dallas in the winter of 2019. Marcos and Tracy contact me early in April as they were not satisfied with their current website and the provider they were using for reports they required for their business. Kulik Strategic Adverisers Inc. is a  consulting firm dedicated to the needs of public entities who provide both health and social services.

Conceptualize

The consultation with the members of Kulik Strategic moved very quickly and they had a number of requests required in the design process. With a tight deadline of 30 days, it was imperative to have a firm understanding of the hierarchy of priorities for the project. By the end of our meeting, the project included: new domain name, web hosting services, email service through Office 365, Google Analytics tracking code, and stronger more focused SEO.

Create

I started the process by creating a new domain name and obtained new web hosting services that included the email requirements for office 365. Next, the creative process began by building a website structure that would be most beneficial for ease of navigation and display of company information. Using the colour scheme found within their logo, I was able to create custom graphics and format important information to be included in the design.

One of the benefits of working with an organization who spends countless hours writing professional documents for their clientele is the content of the website was spot-on. The only task I had was to format it correctly for legibility and SEO purposes. The final task was to link their previous clients’ websites in a creative way. Using those clients’ logos – I was able to accomplish just that.

Communicate

The final design is a mobile-friendly, modern design that provides all the Google tracking information required. I was able to save Kulik Strategic over $500 a month on services that they were previously using and not seeing the results from.

From a website visitors’ perspective, the site is easy to navigate and find the information they are looking for. The graphics are both visually interesting and informative – drawing attention to Kulik’s most pertinent information. At the end of the day, both Marcos and Tracy were extremely happy with the new site and have seen a significant increase in the traffic of targeted customers.
