Another project for the folks with Electrogas Monitors. This time they were in need of a customized, corporate brochure design to advertise and market the Shutdown Services they provide their clients. 

Conceptualize

The biggest challenge, as with any custom marketing material design, is combining the amount of information, the branding identity and creating a visually striking design. Thankfully, with over 10 years of experience designing for Electrogas, this corporate brochure design was relatively simple to put together. They wanted a simple 4-page design that would house all the important information about this service and how it could benefit their customers.

Create

I laid out the cover pages of the document first as they would be the easiest to do. Combining some related imagery with coloured geometric shapes, I was able to create a clean and modern-looking front cover for the brochure. For the interior of the brochure, I gathered all the information (provided by the client) and quickly determined what headings to use and which information was the most important.

The areas that required some more attention were placed in boxes of colour and supported with imagery and symbols to draw the reader’s eye. The amount of information they required to be in the document gave little remove for much creative liberty – so it is very clean and simple. All the information is there and laid out in such a way that gives the eyes of its readers enough breaks to stay engaged until the end.

Communicate

Simple, modern and clean. The flow of information is easy to discern, with extra attention being applied to the necessary areas. The custom corporate brochure designed for Electrogas will work well as their sales team shares it with their customers at in-person meetings or tradeshows.
